Being qualified in both AGILE and PRINCE II project methodologies, Agile is definitely my preferred method for delivering projects that are technical in nature. Whether Lean, Scrum, XP, etc, there is an Agile methodology that is suitable for any size project or programme. What I like about Agile is its focus on great teams, collaboration, communication, simplicity, providing documentation as and when needed and most importantly, its focus on iterative development and early benefit realisation. I’ve used Agile to successfully deliver large complex technical Cyber Security Programmes to smaller Mobile App development projects and where necessary, have introduced Agile to companies that were previously Waterfall and coached teams on how to be Agile. Thus, I believe that this is the best method to deliver Digital Transformation Programmes.
